Oxford Viols

The members of the Oxford Viols are dedicated to exploring the rich repertoire of three-part consort music from the Franco-Flemish composers of the late fifteenth century to the end of the tradition in the late seventeenth century. In addition to the extensive body of work from England, we study and perform music from Italy, France, Germany, and the Low Countries. We also collaborate with singers, keyboardists, and other viol players to add variety and depth to our programming.
